The flashing light up beer mug also has a placement sensor located at the base of the mug. This sensor turns the flashing LED lights off when the lighted beer mug is set down and back on when the light up beer mug is picked up. This ensures that you don't waste any battery power when you are away from your drink to maximize the duration of this exciting lighted drinkware. Plus the lighted beer mug has replaceable batteries so that you can use it again and again.
